"good graphics but very loose gameplay"
Graphics: Dead-on perfect graphics from the 16-bit era. The author must have played Sonic2 a lot ;) the only strange thing I found was in the first stage the mountains should not be moving - only the clouds as an island doesnt float at 60mph
Sound: matches the game perfectly
Control: the menus are really nice but once the action starts it feels like my character bounces around and "jumps from the left to the right".
Gameplay: neat concept and with the help of the power ups it's cool - the only problem is controling the character to do any damage.
Overall: for Sonic fans recommended, else wait for a controller update

err... I think I confused the mountains in BG as the floating islands :). Oh well
But Controls is a matter of mastery and taste. SRY
